One of the joys of my work is the unexpected. I find all sorts of things: a child’s lost marble, liquor bottles and beer can tabs, a lost jelly jar lid, etc. One person’s trash is another person’s artifact. I also find animals, mostly vermin but occasionally a salamander or snail.
